The Calvin S. Brice Society was established to recognize Miami University alumni and friends who provide visionary support to the University through their estate plans. If you have already made provisions to support Miami in your estate plans, we encourage you to notify us of your intent and become a member of the Calvin S. Brice Society today.
Brice Society members receive invitations to special Miami events and—with their approval—receive recognition in various university publications. Their leadership is an important example to others considering meaningful financial commitments to Miami.
There are many creative giving techniques that qualify you for Brice Society membership while allowing you and your financial advisers to incorporate future support for Miami into your estate plans.
- Testamentary Gifts - Name Miami as a beneficiary of your will, revocable trust or retirement plan.
- Charitable Gift Annuities - In exchange for your contribution, the Miami University Foundation guarantees you and/or a spouse fixed income for life.
- Charitable Remainder Trusts - Provide income to you and/or another loved one for life or a term of years.
- Additional giving options include:
- Life insurance
- Gifts of real estate
- Pooled income fund
- Retirement plan gifts
