Give to the Richard and Carole Cocks Art Museum

There are a number of ways you can financially support the Richard and Carole Cocks Art Museum at Miami University. Below are a range of funds with a brief description as to how you can support us:

Art Museum Membership
Becoming a member is one of the best ways to support the Richard and Carole Cocks Art Museum. An annual membership donation provides a range of benefits, from Contributor to Partner level. Membership includes mailing of the Visual Arts at Miami magazine twice a year and invitations to special member events. Reciprocal members can visit hundreds of museums for free through the North American Reciprocal Museums (NARM) association. Annual membership supports the Membership Association and contributes to the Art Museum’s operations. Please visit the Membership page for full information on levels and benefits.

Art Museum Support Fund
The Art Museum Support Fund enables unrestricted gifts to be given to the Richard and Carole Cocks Art Museum to support its general operations and a wide range of activities of the Art Museum. This helps the Art Museum and Sculpture Park stay open and free for all, encourages collaboration, host student interns, support volunteer gallery educators and student volunteers, develop and support exhibitions and public educational programs for visitors of all ages and backgrounds, and to plan for its future. Visit our #MoveInMiami page for more information.

Orpha Webster Art Fund
This fund was established in 1986 in honor of former Miami University Art Department faculty member Orpha B. Webster who generously donated extensive art collections and was instrumental in developing early support for the museum. Donations to the fund will be used to support purchases of artworks by the Richard and Carole Cocks Art Museum to enhance and develop the collections for teaching, display, and research.

John Adam David Schaal Art Conservancy Fund
This fund was established to assist with the conservation of art in the Richard and Carole Cocks Art Museum's permanent collection. Donations to the fund help cover costs of hiring conservation specialists, conducting of conservation treatment, and purchase of materials and supplies which contribute to the conservation of art objects under the care of the Art Museum. Priority is generally placed on artworks that are in need of conservation so that they can be displayed in future exhibitions.

Art Museum Enhancement Fund
The Art Museum Enhancement Fund supports a wide range of needs for the Richard and Carole Cocks Art Museum, including publications, exhibitions, educational programs, acquisitions, capital equipment, and conservation needs of the Art Museum. If you have a specific area of support you wish to provide, please include this in the comment box when making your gift.

Art Museum Commemorative Fund
The Art Museum Commemorative Fund receives contributions in honor or memory of someone. The fund was established to provide an opportunity for artworks to be acquired by the Art Museum in honor or memory of individuals and now includes a wider range of ways to recognize someone special at the Richard and Carole Cocks Art Museum. To give in honor or memory of someone, please include their names in the comments / additional gift details box accompanying your donation.
