The sport of disc golf is growing exponentially in America. The 2017 statistics show a membership of over 41,000 players in the United States, with more than 6,000 courses. Each year, thousands of tournaments and events are held on local disc-golf courses. Most courses regularly have a large number of individual players along with leagues and group events.
There are a limited number of disc golf courses in the Butler County region, so this is a great way to bring more visitors and potential students to campus, and a great way to retain current students, providing them a sanctioned student group that will help promote the course and hold competitions.
The Hamilton Campus Disc Golf course has been very popular, however, to make this course competition ready we need to install concrete pads. If you'd like to donate $500, you can include your name or company name on one of the holes. Include this information in the "additional comments" box when you make your gift.
